The ‘slow movement’ is a cultural shift toward slowing down the pace of our hectic world. The goal is to take better care of the planet—and of one another.
Read MoreReflections is where I post my thoughts on early childhood, parenting and life. I’ve noticed that a number of principles of early childhood aid not only healthy development in children, but also nourish and sustain people in general, regardless of age. What have I learned? That some amount of rhythm and predictability, rather than being uncomfortably restricting, fosters well-being, security and confidence. That the quality of a relationship matters more than any philosophy, skill or approach—and, yet, there are ways to relate that can support, erode or repair bonds. That creativity and curiosity foster joy. And that there is always room for new insights and fresh beginnings.
Warmly,
Trice
